At the annual exhibition at the Royal Danish Art Academy (Rundgang) , we came across Mette Nisgaard Larsens works. She is a Danish visual artist, works and lives in Copenhagen.
Her practice revolves around the use of paper. She often builds her work up as narratives consisting of a series of drawings, processed imagery, video, or composite objects and materials that together form a new meaning and narration. Drawing, experiments and mischief are core elements of her working process.
Her work can better be described as representations of a process rather than a definite standpoint or conclusion. They are points in a process. They are ever expandable and interchangeable. Her artistic work is driven by a profound curiosity to find new connections, create new meanings and explanatory systems. She often builds her work up as narratives consisting of a series of drawings, processed imagery, video, or composite objects and materials that together form a narrative system.
